MIND YOUR BLACK BIZ, LLC ANNOUNCES AFRICAN AND AFRICAN-AMERICAN CONTRACTOR PROGRAM HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED!
Tucson, AZ (BlackNews.com) — Co-Founders Andraé L. Jones, M.Ed. (COO) and Veronica L Phillips M.A. (CEO) has announced an Early Bird Special to allow an even greater number of local contractors, both new and established, to attend and take advantage of Tucson Urban League’s The Minority Contractors’ Capacity Building Program.
This has been created to teach African and African American contractors who wish to create, have just created or are established contractors who wish to grow and solidify their businesses.
“Mind Your Black Biz wants to ensure that monetary challenges will not hinder those who are willing to learn,” stated jointly by Jones and Phillips. “We want as many entrepreneurs, small businesses and startups to take advantage of this powerful and professionally empowering opportunity.”
Registered participants will learn more about:
* Starting a new business;
* The difference between the public and private sectors;
* Successfully bid on government and corporate contracts;
* Negotiating contracts;
* Evaluate and respond to government’s Request for Proposals (RFPs) and bids;
* Read blueprints; and
For only $225 per person for twelve (12) sessions, (that’s only $18.75 for each training!)
So for the cost of One Large Pizza Hut Ultimate Cheese Lover’s Pizza (Stuffed Crust)! per class, you will be taught by a half dozen local business owners from the legal, marketing, financial, consulting and construction fields.
Speaking of pizza, food and beverages will be included in the registration cost.
