The dilemma is tricky but according to Stokely the solution is to break it down and spell it out, aka the title of his latest single, “Jeopardy: Verbalize.”

Instead of silence, snarky texts or the barest of hints cut to the chase why don’t you? “You know I just can’t read your mind, why you mad? Use your words/you see how hard I’m trying, so why this game of Jeopardy tonight? Baby just verbalize/I’m deep inside this mind of yours, for a thousand stacks, I’ll bet on that, uh/you need to make it clear for sure/why this game of Jeopardy tonight?”
Love’s landscape, even with vigilance, can sometimes drift into rocky terrain: even long-term unions can benefit from redirection. It’s no surprise our St. Paul, MN-based Sonic Soul provider Stokley penned and executed “Jeopardy: Verbalize,” another worthy release from his sophomore offering Sankofa that also doubles as a glib and catchy roadmap to a happier ending.
