April 15, 2025 (Atlanta, GA) – The Black College Football Hall of Fame Board of Trustees is excited to announce its 16th annual Induction weekend is less than 60 days away.

This year, the Black College Football Hall of Fame is proud to welcome the following inductees into its esteemed ranks, Henry Dyer (Grambling State University), Rashean Mathis (Bethune-Cookman University), Jacquay Nunnally (Florida A&M University), Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Tennessee State University), (Howard University), and Coach Fred “Pop” Long (Wiley College).
“This Class of 2025 is a great showcase of the some of the incredible football talent that has been produced from historically black colleges and universities,” said Black College Football Hall of Fame Co-Founder and 2011 Inductee Doug Williams. “Several of these players were college All-Americans, high NFL draft picks and Pro Bowlers.”.
The Class of 2025 was previously recognized during the 2025 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl in New Orleans on February 22nd, live on NFL Network.
Throughout the past 16 years, Induction weekend has served as the marquee event for the Hall of Fame. It is a celebration of HBCU greatness and history, as well as a gathering to honor those who have given their all to the game as either a player, coach, or contributor.
Serving as Master of Ceremony for the Induction Ceremony is once again Steve Wyche (NFL Network). Others to be honored during the evening are Jada Byers (Virginia Union. University) as the 2024 Black College Football Player of the Year, who will receive the Deacon Jones Trophy; the 2024 Black College Football Coach of the Year, and the 2024 Black College Football Pro Player of the Year, presented by the NFLPA.
In addition to the Class of 2024, over 30 previous inductees of the BCFHOF will be in attendance, as well as other VIPs from around the country.
The Class of 2025 will be honored at the 16th Annual Black College Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Presented by the Atlanta Falcons on June 7th, 2025. The Induction Ceremony will take place at 7:30 PM at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia.
