BALTIMORE, Md. – February 23, 2024 – During March 2024, Jehovah’s Witnesses will be launching a special campaign to invite fellow residents of Baltimore to two special events.
On Sunday, March 24, millions of Jehovah’s Witnesses around the world will gather to commemorate the death of Jesus Christ, an observance Jesus himself instituted in the Gospels.
“Jehovah’s Witnesses meet together several times a week, but we consider the Memorial the most important meeting of the year,” said Cliff Patterson, spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses. “Millions of people who are not JehovaH’s Witnesses attend this meeting,
which helps make it such a special evening. That’s why we’re working hard to deliver personal invitations to our neighbors in the Baltimore area.”
The annual observance of the Lord’s Evening Meal will feature a talk highlighting the significance of Jesus’ death and what it means for all of mankind. Free and open to the public, the one-hour event will begin and conclude with prayer.
