Wow, here’s a pairing we didn’t expect. The last time we heard former American Idol star Latoya London, she was teaming with Najee on the smooth, summery song “The Breeze.” That was 2019, and we were moaning about how infrequently we hear from this longtime ST fave.
Well, Latoya is now back, teamed with soul music giant Anthony Hamilton, fresh off his appearance on Versuz with Musiq. The song, “On Everything” was written by written by Hamilton and London with David P. Stevens and Keniece Ford El, and is a funky ballad about the strength of love, and how it can conquer all the surrounding problems.
The song has a different vibe for London, but she sounds wonderful, and Hamilton is, of course, his royal self. Check out “On Everything” below, and tell us what you think about this unexpected duet.
